I think its disgraceful that Division 1A (FBS) will schedule games with weak Division 1AA (FCS) teams; then their records look good. Some FCS teams are good and occasionally upset a big school, like Appalachain State beating Michigan a few years ago, but Appalachain St was known to be a quality team. William and Mary almost beat Maryland last week, but Maryland is weak.


the bigger schools do this to start the season off on the right foot and use it as a 'preseason'. for some teams, it works out great. others...well just like michigan, cost a seaason or more, and a coach's job.
