i think when ray sr. died 84 the commission all five bosses when big paul was still alive+ fat tony and the rest made him boss in 84. didnt seem like there was trouble to 87 when all the old bosses got life and gotti was starting to screw up all the families. i never believed he cried were did that romour start, i believe there was a meeting to step down probaly happend after they found out the induction was recored,but i go with nervous not crying thats somones b.s. or jeolous. i know he's not active he still goes to all the funerals of the old guys, he didnt pull a jurnior gotti and go on 60min, just did his time and walked away quietly.he will go down as the don that couldnt lead a brownie scout. but he must be mega rich.
