Rolling Rock rock is damned good beer, Klyd.

This is a nice thread, and I do like to try all the new beers when I can, but the under 40 crowd here has to realize that when we were coming of age these local "trendy" beers didn't exist.

Our fathers' beers were Schaefer and Rheingold and Pabst Blue Ribbon and Piels and Schmidts and Rolling Rock and Ballantine's and Genesee and Old Style and Carling Black Label and on and on and on.

So these are the beers that we drank when I was a young guy, because that's what our fathers drank. When I go into my 20's, I thought that Saint Pauli Girl and Michelob were exotic beers .
