Just saw the movie. It was interesting, but Licavoli seems to be portrayed very differently from the book the movie was based on. If I remember correctly, in the book it is said he wasn't particularly ambitious to become the boss and sometimes behaved like a complete idiot (switched price tags on pants in a shop, used stolen credit cards etc).
