I also have Firefox which, as far as format, I don't mind. However, I can never keep a connection with it. I was using it all the time but found myself constantly losing connection, and having to re-connect via troubleshooter which said I lost connection with the data point or something.
I called my cable company and via telephone they tweeked here and there. I don't have the problem with IE so I went back to IE. Don't know if it's my internet company (RoadRunner/Time Warner) but IE works better so that's what I'll use.

IE hangs on to more than half of browser market
Microsoft's browser took home a 54 percent slice of the market in June, leaving Firefox and Chrome each with around 20 percent, says Net Applications.
