I'd count it as the absolute top rock documentary, thanks to the Maysles brothers. Nothing else comes close. And some great music. The Madison Square Garden footage is the basis for "Get Your Ya-Ya's Out," which is one of the two best Stones live albums (the other is "Love You Live"). Great, uncut version of "Wild Horses" in the Muscle Shoals studio. The Altamont stuff could have been great, but the violence f***ed it up.

Best concert film? Haven't seen all of them, but I'd count "Last Waltz," "Jimi Plays Berkeley," and "Fleetwood Mac - The Dance" among the top.
