Wikipedia says Paul McCartney's TUG OF WAR came out 30 years ago today. I've been vocal more than once that I hated the monster hit from it ("Ebony & Ivory"), but other than that TOW was a really darn good album overall, produced by George Martin.

The stand-outs for me from the warm & fuzzy "Wanderlust" to the Vaudeville-flavored "Ballroom Dancing" to the Top 20 hit "Take it Away." His Lennon tribute "Here Today" is touching and haunting. Hell the other track he did w/ Stevie Wonder ("What's That You're Doing?") is so damn funky yet out of place because it sounds like more fitting on a Wonder LP, which is a cool touch in my opinion.
