Was anyone else chanting "BORING! BORING! BORING!" during the Johnny Ace/Brock Lesnar segment last night? I know I was. Lesnar just rambled on for 10 minutes, making himself look more like a prima donna than a beast.
I...liked it? For a feud that was happening randomly with no reasoning, they turned the real story behind Brocks' lucrative return and made him into the bad guy for it. They could've done the same for Rock, but we know the crowd would've cheered for Rocky anyway.
I'll say one critical thing about it: Times like this is when Paul Heyman would've been helpful. He was a great mouth for him back in the day.
