We had 16" of snow on Sunday and Monday here in the High Desert--fourth-biggest 24-hour accumulation since records were kept. Luckily the temp warmed up. And, since it's spring, we're getting wider and longer-lasting sunshine. Most of it's gone by now. Brought much-welcomed moisture to our parched soil.
