Chicago basically told New York to get the fuck out of Las Vegas back in the late 1950's.
I thought they got Vegas to themselves after they killed Alan Dorfman? Someone big at least. That and they helped the Eastern families get a strong hold in AC.
Though I do have to kinda agree with you, Chicago does pick it's wiseguys better. There's a far more organized structure in NY, but it seems that Chicago has a better run on it's organization.
Though one thing Chicago never had was as strong as a hold on unions and most notably docks like the Eastern families did and have.
