I wouldn't be surprised if that were true. I still remember going to see "A Hard Days Night" with some friends. The lines were unbelievable and the excitement was wonderful. Once in the theater, and I kid you not, you could NOT hear anything but screaming girls. You had to look around in amazement.
I kick myself that the Beatles appeared in Detroit and I didn't go see them. Never have that chance again.
