I was in Florida 3 time sin my life BUT the last time was in the 70's. I've been to Ft. Lauderdale, Miami,Palm Beach. At that time, they seemed nice (at least from a tourist view). I like that their beaches are so close to the hotels/street. It's not a huge walking distance to get to the water if I remember correctly. In general, a definite feel than a California Beach IMHO.

I was in Orland FLa (if that's the city Disneyworld is in) also.
