I really kind of like the premise. Sort of a supernatural (time travel) disappearance of these prisoners. I forgot how many prisoners they said (200ish?). Anyway, notice too, that the star (sorry don't even know her character name) saw her father's picture on the wall. She wasn't told he was an inmate. That should be interesting.
Btw, you said you had visited Alcatraz and I did many years before you did, BUT it did look like I remember it (whether or not it's a set for the show or the real thing.) Love the shots of beautiful San Francisco. I see the chase scenes and remember the outrageous hills in that city, and can't help but think these actors will get their workout.
