According to this NY Post report, poor ratings are to blame. (The daytime series, which features homemaker tips, averaged 225,000 viewers last year.) In addition, production costs had been escalating. And no matter how big your name is, when low ratings meet high production costs, you're TV history (in the way that's not a good one).
