The application part is actually easy. It's just basic information: name, address, name of high school, GPA, etc. Then we get into the college essay, which she did in English class, thank God, and all the supporting crap that goes with it.

Plus, since she's applying to art schools, she has to have a portfolio. However, each school has different portfolio requirements. One wants 12-20 pictures, 5 from direct observation. Another wants 20, with a minimum of 7 from direct observation, plus an exterior scene drawn in pencil and two essays. And they all have to be digitized and sent to the school via some app called slideroom.

All for the privilege of paying these clowns anywhere from $40-60K a year! Unless, hopefully (and will accept all prayers, novenas, pilgrimages to Lourdes, etc.) she gets into the state school.
