We have more trees than you'd expect in a "desert," Frosty. We don't have the typical desert landscape with sand and saguaro cactus (the tall ones with the arms). It's actually pretty green here. But we have no deciduous (leaf-bearing) trees.

And, I doubt you'd like snow at 39-42 degrees if you had to shovel my steep driveway.
