Tony machines had more then most of them and was around for years ! He was more made then most of them and knew how to earn ! His connections were very powerful and they should have worked with the guy ! In the end they would have taken ownership of his business and would have earned his connections!
Tony Machines was always an independent guy. I think he told Scarfo to go fuck himself.
Of course, as you'll recall, he was later shot and wounded back in 1996. After that, he agreed to make tribute payments to Natale and Merlino. And later Ligambi and his guys took over the business completely from Tony's sons.
