Tony machines had more then most of them and was around for years ! He was more made then most of them and knew how to earn ! His connections were very powerful and they should have worked with the guy ! In the end they would have taken ownership of his business and would have earned his connections!
Tony Machines was always an independent guy. I think he told Scarfo to go fuck himself.
