One thing I've found is there are a lot of hits of lower level associates and hangers-on that fly under the radar today. Usually only when a well known associate or a made guy gets hit does it make big news. Which leads some to assume there aren't many hits anymore. Compared to the past there isn't but there's more than people may think.
I've always suspected as much, especially when drugs are involved. There's probably a fair few of mob connected dealers and traffickers getting clipped that we never hear about.
