It's sort of like arguing over who is the most beautiful woman in the world. Once you get past a certain point it's all subjective. I give a slight nod to The Wire especially for the writing but that's just me. The Wire also showed blacks in dramatic roles which was (is) incredibly rare on TV or in movies. I appreciated that.
I enjoyed The Sopranos immensely but if I had to choose I'm picking The Wire.
