hey spmob sounds like your a local philly guy that has a lot of insight to the mafia there. You mentioned reading some articles from george anastasia, I started reading blood and honor , very good reading. Wonder if Anastatia is somehow releated to Albert Anastasia from NY. I read some very cool stuff on him he was a pure madman in NY, he basically started the mafia in NY. The name Anastasia still carries a lot of weight in NY in fact I believe some of the mafia in NY still has ties to that family. Just ironique if that the guy writiing artcles in Philly may be a relation through families.... ??
the only thing u got right in this post was that anastasia was a mad man and that blood and honor was a good read. the mafia was started long ago, even before luciano who just kinda modernized it. the mafia in NYC dates back to the 19th century. george only wishes he was related to albert anastasia then he might have something better to report on than joey merlino catchin rays down in florida.
