Whenever I watch GOODFELLAS, and the Billy Batts scene starts, I immediately think of Plaw's chance meeting of Frank Vincent at a basketball game. I always get a good chuckle thinking about Plaw being completely starstruck, and putting his foot in his mouth when he tells him "I bet I'm the only person here who knows who you are!"
