The trial of James Ray, the spiritual guru involved in the sweatlodge deaths, opened yesterday in this county. It's being televised. His attorneys are claiming that Ray wasn't negligent int he deaths--the deaths and illnesses were caused by "toxins" in the wood and stones used to heat up the sweatlodge.
