I want to add one more comment. My husband was never interviewed as to the events of that day. He was brought to the office, read a letter, and escorted to his car. How's that for an investigation, and 'innocent until proven guilty?'

Students every single day refuse to participate in the classroom lessons. Class had already started. My husband was focused on the students in the front of the room. He has ONE set of eyes. He is ONE person. His eyes cannot possibly scan the entire room every single second of the class period.

Before you judge, perhaps you should walk in a teacher's shoes. My husband went back to school, took a 40% pay cut from his first career (business), because he wanted to teach kids and make a difference. He is there at 6 am every single day and spends a minimum of 8 hrs on the weekends at school preparing lessons. Now he is on administrative leave and may lose his job because he was focused on actually teaching, and in a 2 minute period, some students in the back snorted drugs.

Don't judge so quickly next time.
