"Michigan is not used to this," Brandon said during his news conference about U-M's record under Rodriguez. "We need to put ourselves in a position again where we are competitive. … We need a coach who can put us in a position to win those games."
Michigan had one of the nation's worst defenses in 2010, and Brandon was asked if he has given thought to hiring a defensive-minded coach.
