Sad to report that I just discovered that the restaurant Vinny's II on Kings Highway in Brooklyn is no more.

It had been a mainstay of the neighborhood for many years. On Don Cardi's recommendation I took Signora V. there in 2006 for what would turn out to be our last anniversary together. A very memorable evening.

The reason for its demise? Haven't a clue. I passed by there a few days ago and found that it is now a Bar & Grill with a completely different name. frown
