I liked this song when it first came out in the nineties. Then I realized there was at least a 50% chance she wasn't directing the lyrics to a dude. rolleyes whistle

But now that I'm older and marginally less judgmental lol I don't care. Whoever she may be singing to, it's still a great song in my book.
