Isn't Grosse Ile a wealthy suburb, or is that Grosse Pointe?
They are both wealthy areas. The various Grosse Pointes are wealthy and known for being so. Grosse Ile is also pretty well off but because it's literally downriver kind of flies under the radar a bit. It's a small insular little place. It is the safest place in Michigan and made Money's (or was it Fortune's)list of top places to live.
There's only like something between 8,000 to 10,000 people there and there's just two bridges to the rest of the state. It's a nice place to visit and if I ever come into the possession of a few billion I'll buy the Island.
