Ron Lundy, a longtime radio dj in NYC died. He was on WABC (AM) during their hey-day when the Beatles and all the great rock'n'roll groups dominated the air. When the station went to all-talk format during the '80s he moved to WCBS-FM, an all oldies station, still playing the great '50s/'60s tunes.

I just heard the news this afternoon while standing on the (interminable) line at my local post office. Very sad to hear. I certainly remember listening to him so many years ago.
