I have one word for you - Katrina. Hopefully some good came from our horrible response to the people of New Orleans, and we are able to muster the necessary help more efficiently for Haiti.
The news this morning said that the death toll will surely be in the thousands, if not tens of thousands.
It doesn't look like we learned a hell of a lot!
Sadly, the death toll MAY be more that the tens of thousands.
