The only thing I would have omitted was the phrase "as if he were drunk," but that would be because the lawyer in me tells me that that phrase would be inadmissable in court testimony within the context you've outlined.
I disagree. Given Geoff's history of drinking, he'd be considered an expert witness.
I don't think the jury would be sympathetic towards him. They'd probably think he was a sonofabitch not for ripping the mentally disabled worker, but for taking his parents out to Arby's for lunch.
