Yes. There was a certain mafia underboss I remember hearing of on a history channel special or something. I know his first name was Joey, and he did several charitable things.
In one clip, a kid approaches him and says " Your my idol, Joey."
It was also said that despite being underboss, he was the true boss of the syndicate.
