I'm not interested in baseball teams equality. They compete against each other with the talent they can muster - that's the hand they are dealt.
That seems like a strange thing to say. Teams aren't dealt hands, they control them. Look at how many teams in the NFL go from being a bad team to making it to the Superbowl in one year. The Arizona Cardinals are the most recent. That will never happen in baseball if there aren't rules to even out the playing field.
