My son pitched his guts out tonight against a 15-0 team that was averaging 13 runs a game. A game ending sacrifice fly beat him 2-1. He was crushed. He pitched the whole game (6 2/3 innings), gave up 2 runs, scattered 4 hits, and had 10 strikeouts with 3 walks. He hit a batter too, and the HBP scored the winning team's first run.
Tell him to keep his chin up Klyd. Better luck to him in his next game. He will be even more determined to bury the ghost of this game i bet?
