I just watched "The Legend of Tennessee Moltisanti," or Season One: Epsiode Eight of "The Sopranos."

It's funny now seeing Joe Gannascoli play a different part, because his Vito Spatafore became a pretty big part of some of the later plots.

If you've never seen it before, Gannascoli plays a customer in a bakery, who has a run in with Christopher. The Gannascoli character is a regular guy; he's not a part of Christopher's world. Anyway, the counter man pisses Chris off, and Chris shoots him in the foot.

I think it was almost tongue in cheek, because it's such an obvious homage to Spider getting shot in the foot in "Goodfellas." The irony, of course, is that Michael Imperioli played Spider.
