The disgraced former Mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick, was released from jail. Within days he had a new job paying six figures + commissions at Compuware's health care subsidiary, Covisint. This was announced on the same day that Compuware laid off another 250 employees.

The Compuware Chairman , Peter Karmanos, and Kilpatrick are good friends.
