Whisper, it takes a bit to figure out, but it's not that bad once you get used to it. But for your purposes, MySpace is better for bands and such by far. Facebook is more about keeping in touch w/ friends...

I have myspace but facebook is so much better because people can't put black text on top of a black background and whatnot.
