VALPARAISO -- A 31-year-old Portage man who said he was only following a judge's orders was arrested for refusing to leave the Porter County Sheriff's Department on Monday.

When questioned after his arrest for trespassing, Denny Colazo said he had been told to report to the jail in February to serve a sentence but had lost track of time and did not know the month.

According to police, Colazo showed up at the jail around 5:30 p.m. and asked to be let inside. He was told on three separate occasions to leave, and each time he returned to calmly make the request again. An officer was called when Colazo was still hanging around outside at 9 p.m.

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.
