Mig, if you try the Nathan's franks, grill or broil them - don't boil them.
I think the next time I go to the store I'll pick up a pack. And I'll keep your suggestion in mind. Thanks!
As SC said, Nathans are delicious and perfect for grilling. I also love Thumanns for grilling. Both are very very good.
If you decide to grill them on the BBQ, keep the BBQ on high, but do NOT place the Franks directly on the lower rack of the grill. Instead place then on the upper rack and then close the cover. By grilling them that way they'll plump, split and crisp up.
But as SC said, whatever you do, do NOT boil them. If you are going to boil franks, then buy the Sabrett pushcart style brand.
