The man's only played in 9 games for the Brewers and already 38% of the people think's he should get the Cy Young and 14% think he deserves both eek Don't get me wrong, Sabathia has been nothing short of dominant since moving to the NL (8-0 with a 1.60 ERA). But what about guys like Brandon Webb (18-4 with a 2.85 ERA) and Johan Santana (11-7 with a 2.75 ERA) who have been doing it all season?

Those figures are unrealistic as ESPN typically presents a story overhyping an athlete and immediately puts out a poll, so the eighth graders run to their computers with a video highlight reel of Sabathia fresh in their heads, and they cast their votes. Then ESPN passes on the results as if they had scientific value. They could do a story on Manny Ramirez' couple of weeks with the Dodgers, and there'd be votes for him for MVP. smile

The NL Cy Young is a 3 dog race with Webb in the lead, followed by Lincecum and Volquez. They have separated themselves from every other starter in the NL this season.

CC Sabathia has been amazing since he arrived in Milwaukee. He had inconsistent outings for the first half of the season in Cleveland, but he will certainly command a lot of interest in the off-season, especially if he reaches and does well in the post-season. An early prediction is that he signs with the Dodgers. He's from Vallejo, liked the Dodgers growing up, and he loooooooves to bat.
