The truth is, the bill is not to bail out homeowners. It's to bail out the banks. We don't even want to think about what would happen if the banks continue to lose money from their prior bad lending practices.

As for the gas prices, I heard on the radio that gas is down an average of 15 cents a gallon. Is that supposed to thrill me? Because it doesn't.
