Yesterday, two blocks away from where she lived, a 5 foot boa constrictor was found in somebody's backyard.

The garter snakes in my backyard just aren't keeping the moles away.
The Dallas zoo brought a penguin*, boa and a turtle to our workplace last month and gave away free passes for the zoo. I was allowed to touch/hold the boa. It was a bit sticky
* I never imagined that they would survive in Dallas heat.
