I can't believe this is the fifth time a team has won a game without getting a hit! I thought this would have been the first. Shows how important defense is.
Andy Hawkins did it as a Yankee about 15 years ago. Throw in a couple of errors, a walk, a sacrifice, and presto! You get a couple of runs. I think he lost, 2-1.
It just emphasizes my belief that pitching and defense win games. You don't need to hit to score.
