Curt Schilling and the Red Sox announced that Schilling will have season ending shoulder surgery. This very likely will end his career with 216 wins against 146 losses.
That's too bad. I honestly wasn't counting on him doing much for the Sox this year, but still you hate to hear news like that.
I really don't know if he'll make the Hall (of Fame). He had some awesome seasons and yes, his post-season play was outstanding, but his "totals" were marginal. His bloody sock should be put in, though.
