From Coney Island (Brooklyn):

A guy had his boat tied up in the ocean near the Coney Island beach. Apparently the boat got untied and the owner tried to "save" the boat from floating away and he ended up in the water. The boat was drifting away from him and he quickly got too tired to continue swimming. He resigned himself to his fate and felt himself going under the water (he thought he would drown). The next thing he knew, someone was grabbing him, bringing him back up and taking him ashore. The rescuer stayed with him until he was sure the boater was OK, and then the rescuer disappeared (leaving his surfboard behind).

It turns out the boater was a family member of the owners of Jordan's Lobster Dock (the real life locale used in the movie "Brooklyn Lobster") and they're looking for the rescuer (to apparently reward him).
