Radio station WIP, citing unidentified sources, reported the alleged shooting victim argued with Harrison at Playmakers bar. The victim left and headed to his car, Harrison followed and gunfire broke out, the station reported. The alleged victim was shot in the hand and did not identify the shooter, according to the radio station.

After the first day of their rookie minicamp, Colts coach Tony Dungy said he knew little more than had been reported.

``My phone has been ringing, too, but I don't have any details,'' Dungy said. ``I really don't have any more information than you do.''

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league is aware of the report and is ``looking into it.'' Harrison's agent, Tom Condon, did not immediately return a call.

A source told WIP that ballistic tests showed the shots were fired from a custom-made Belgian weapon, and police determined Harrison owns that kind of gun.

Police went to a Philadelphia car wash owned by Harrison and questioned him about the gun, the station said. Harrison acknowledged owning such a weapon, but told officials it never left his suburban Philadelphia home, the radio station reported.

The source told the station a gun was discovered in a bucket at the car wash, and tests showed it had fired bullets that matched those at the scene.

What the heck? Doesn't sound like Marvin Harrison at all...

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Indianapolis Colts star wide receiver and Philadelphia native Marvin Harrison has been interviewed in connection to a shooting near a North Philadelphia business he owns.

The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon at about 5:00 p.m. near Playmakers bar at 25th and Thompson Streets.

According to police, one male was struck in the hand and a young child was injured by flying glass.

Sources said trouble began Saturday night at Playmakers, which is owned by Harrison. Several men, denied access to the bar, began cursing and making threats.

On Tuesday afternoon, the same men returned to Thompson Street where a scuffle, involving Harrison and others, broke out, sources said. The men left and when they returned a short time later, bullets rang out.

Police said Harrison, 35, is fully cooperating with police regarding the shooting.

"I can tell you that he (Harrison) was interviewed, why he was interviewed, that's all part of the investigation, no one is a suspect at this point," Lt. Frank Vanore said.

Police sources said ballistics tests indicated that shell casings recovered at the scene match a gun owned by Harrison.

However, sources said Harrison led detectives to the weapon, which was legally purchased, and Harrison possesses a valid permit to carry the weapon.

Sources said there is no indication that Harrison had possession of the gun at the time of the shooting nor did he know who had the gun.

Harrison graduated from Roman Catholic High School in Center City Philadelphia and played college football at Syracuse University with current Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb.

Harrison, an eight-time Pro Bowler, has 123 career touchdowns and owns numerous NFL records.

Harrison has a reputation for being quiet and hard-working. The most productive receiver in Colts history, he won a Super Bowl with Indianapolis in 2007.

Investigators are not saying who fired the bullets and so far, no charges have been filed.
