Yeah I'll probably just have to go ahead and do it although I don't really think it's fair. Jobs with MLB teams are posted free of charge (as are NBA) but for whatever reason, minor league job postings cost.
While the day to day baseball operations of minor league teams are related to the MLB parent teams, the business end of the teams (ticket sales, promotions, advertising, travel, etc.) are completely unrelated to MLB.
The Scranton team (the Yankees' AAA team) is owned and operated by the county, I believe, and am surprised there is a charge for an application. Maybe the county has hired a firm to run the team.
