I just went out and picked up a HUGE bouquet of flowers for my daughter who is appearing tonight as Sister in Damn Yankees. My mom saw it a few days ago with her friends (they do a benefit for the seniors) and my best friend saw it last night. They all said she was terrific. I figured that they were sort of biased, so I took it all with a grain of salt.

However, her chemistry teacher called this morning. She just wanted my daughter to know that she was "delightful" last night. She had no idea that she was so talented and that she wanted her to know that she was so impressed that she had taken on such a big part, and was still managing an A in Chemistry.

I really can't wait to see it tonight! These kids put in so many hours that it's nice to hear that someone appreciated the effort.
