If I've learned anything in the past four years that I've been following baseball, it's to not dedicate so much trust, faith, and loyalty to the players, because things that turn out like this end up showing me how little it all meant.
You're too young to be so cynical and maybe I'm too old to be less cynical, but you're right. Dunno who/what to blame for this and am gradually coming to the point of not caring anymore.
