Is the Jerusalem Pizza still open on Avenue J (maybe around 15th Street)? For a non Italian joint it had the best pizza around.
I used to go to the Lionel Train Store on Avenue M and east 15th street years ago when I was into model railroading. My uncle and I would always walk over to a Pizza place on E.15th and Ave J. I didn't remember the name but remember that we would walk down E. 15th over to Avenue J, so that must have been the place. It's where I first tried Falafel Pizza, which by the way is pretty good.
